The supreme governing body of Georgiaโs Environmental Managers Association is the General Assembly of its members. The General Assembly is held at least once a year and makes decisions by a majority vote of the members present.
The General Assembly of the Association:
- Approves the Statute of the Association and makes amendments and additions to it
- Appoints and dismisses members of the Associationโs Board and also approves the President of the Association in accordance with the procedures established by the Statute
- Reviews reports of the Associationโs committees regarding their activities
- Approves the annual budget of the Association prepared and developed by the Board, as well as membership fees and the reserve fund.
